I am working on what may become a short series called “The Space Between Us”. What does it mean? Well, I really like how the pieces I refer to as bubbles, spheres, or circles turn out, and I wanted to incorporate that theme into something that is hopefully a little more accessible to most people. I think I am trying to illustrate how there can be a vast space between people, but that space can also be where magic happens, if we try to cross it to find each other. Now that I look at it, I am reminded of that trippy scene at the end of “Altered States”. Is that a good thing? You tell me…

This watercolor painting is of an abstract field containing sphere between a man and woman.

This is an 11 x 17 watercolor of a man and a woman, with an abstract field between them.
