Living a couple of hours away from the beach is great! With the exception of my time in the US Navy, this is the closest I have ever lived to the ocean. It allows us to take day trips down on a moment’s notice! I have had several business trips to the Wilmington area in the last year. Once, I was scheduled for a conference call while I was there. I finished up the in-person portion of my work-day, and took the conference call while sitting on the Carolina Beach boardwalk. That’s a win!
